Macedonian translator / Macedonian technical translation / Macedonian technical translator / Macedonian interpreter
Facts about the Macedonian language:
- Approximate two million people speak Macedonian, mainly in Macedonia.
- Within the South Slavic continuum, ranging from the Croatian to the Bulgarian language, Macedonian enjoys a high degree of mutual intelligibility with the Bulgarian language. A number of linguistic phenomena appear in Macedonian which connect it to Bulgarian and separate it from other Slavic languages.
- Macedonian is unrelated to the ancient and extinct language of Macedon. Though both are Indo-European languages, ancient Macedonian was more closely related to Greek, while modern Macedonian belongs in the Slavic language group. Most European languages (unlike Hungarian) do not distinguish between the two, and the name sometimes leads to misunderstandings.
